Medical Hell!!!

Oooook so crazy month, I havent gotten to ride in a month either I had a huge medical nightmare, but will try to make it short! At midnight on september 26th I got a bad pain in my lower back (I knew what it was, id had a kidney stone in 2005) and I thought maybe I could pass it so I started home remedies like lemon juice, asparagus and coca cola and ended up throwing all of that up and at 8am i gave in and said "take me to the ER" so we went to the closest ER they got me in, did an ultra sound and saw the 1cm stone in my right kidney, turns out it was blocking up my right kidney and had caused a severe infection.  after 4 hours in that ER they tell me "we dont have a urologist, so ur gonna have to go to the hospital down the street" at this point I was pissed cause we have a 10k deductible.  So down the street we go to the ER where we had to start all over again, not to mention the pain was coming back and i was throwing up again every 5 minutes.  the next ER took their sweet time getting me in, probably about and hour.  Then after they did a ct scan and saw the stone and got the blood work they had to do emergency surgery to place a nephrostomy tube in my back that led to my kidney, the infection had gotten so bad that i was starting to go septic (which is where the infection can get in your blood and spread to your other organs) so they placed the tube in, and admitted me, i was in the hospital for 5 days, and had to have the tube in until they could do the lithotripsy which was a week after i left the hospital, sooooo they did the lithotripsy a week later and removed the tube, then after three days they did an xray and all the lithotripsy did was break the stone into two large pieces (ugh!!!) soooo after 4 days they did a lazer lithotripsy which is where they go up to the stone thru your pee hole with a camera and lazy get RIGHT up to the stone and BLAST it like astroids, the whole thing sucked, but now I am 100% and back to work thank god, and have been so busy catching up and worrying about medical bills coming that I havent gotten to ride yet, BUT sunday I am going to try my hardest to ride and finally do another vlog, its been a crazy ass summer, but thank god in the last 2 weeks the weather has calmed down.  but ive got some fun things planned for the fz6r coming up that I will reveal later

stay safe!!!

Hoover Dam!!!

Took on the hoover dam this week yay!!! It was a lot of fun, also had to hit the highway again to get to the dam and that was amazing cause there was no wind!!! Got my bike up to 73mph, and got passed by not just 1 cop BUT 2! LOL!

The twisties at the dam were my first, a bit nervous I admit, at one of the turns I was going about 30mph and the turn was a bit sharper than I was expecting and I know NEVER to break in a turn so I just leaned more lol and it was no problem!  I feel like I learned a lot on the hoover dam ride and gained some confidence.

Got passed coming home by a girl on a sportbike going about 15 mph over a strictly enforced speed limit area (she was going 60 in 45)....idiot, she was riding like I hate too like she is queen shit with her left hand resting on her thigh like "oh ya im so cool I dont need to have both hands on the handlebars!" ugh, I wanted to hit her with a rock.  Anyways, it was a lot of fun and next time I go I will bring the camera I just didnt want to this time because I wanted to be completely focused with no distractions.

WHY ME!!!!!!!

Soooooo, turns out I hate riding on the BACK of my bike, our car had problems tonight so I had to ride the bike behind the car to the dealership and hubby rode us home on my bike, and being on the back is...no fun, its too high I feel unstable like the bike is gonna tip backwards, turns felt slick, ugh, but when im in the saddle *drool* I just love it!  I got new riding boots and pants!!!

Both I tried tonight and were awesome, the pants even have pouches on the sides for hip pads too!!! need to track me down some of those! I was shocked at the boots, at first it was weird cause I couldnt feel the shifter like I could in my tennis shoes, but I adjusted quickly, and I thought I might feel shorter with the boots, but the opposite I feel alittle taller even though they arnt any taller than shoes maybe its cause I have more traction!  Cant wait until the boots are broken in, they already feel great now, I can only imagine in a few weeks!!!  Anyways I hope the car isnt totally screwed up, it started sputtering at low idle out of nowhere!!! and made a loud clunk sound too, ugh just when we were wanting to get rid of it too, why!!!!!!! why do I have terrible mojo??? Will find out tomorrow about the car, fingers crossed that its just a clogged egr valve!!! or something easy and cheap!!!

Asus G75 Drama!!!!

Ugh! So as patrick was playing skyrim he was unhappy with some screen tearing, and such, but most of all how slow the laptop was being, I mean with the processor it has ( i7-3610QM ) and being ivy-bridge it just didnt make sense, soooo....we had the black tie plan and were within the exchange limit, we took it in to ask them what was up, the geek squad guy says, after we show him skyrim, that they can do an extensive diagnostic to check for any factory flaws, so ok, we did that, and i get a phone call the next day saying they need my recovery disc's and that the diagnostic flagged the hard drive and it was possibly a virus (a 15 day old laptop with nothing but video games from steam) hmmmmm, okay, so we drop the discs off (thank god patrick made them three days into having the laptop) and I get a call the NEXT day again saying that they cannot get windows to load, even after putting in a different hard drive, and that they believe the motherboard is faulty. Seriously? This is ALWAYS our luck to get the bad apple with any electronic we get, I mean we went through 3 wireless routers before we got one that wasnt broken, 2 modems! 2 televisions, this is just like the worst curse ever!!! Of course they had no more g75's in stock, so it's now on order and will be there on the 9th, and I told them, once it arrives bust that bad boy open and do another diagnostic!!!! I will be damned if I get it home and install the games to have the same thing happen....will update later, we are going for breakfast yummmmmm!

I am a lazy shithead!!! I've been working, havent got to ride hardly this week and I didnt sleep today so I am definitely not riding! We are in excessive heat warning until tomorrow so I might ride tomorrow, I am still hunting down a camera to put in my helmet along with the handlebar camera, to sum it up I just suck right now.  Oh and patrick brought the g75 to best buy for a stress test to make sure all is good with it before the return period is up he isnt liking how its running skyrim at certain area's so will be a few days before we hear back on that!

Life...or something like it!

So last year we bought a house! well, alittle more than a year!  Owning a house is great I LOVE our house, we put a lot of blood sweat and tears into it. We put laminate flooring in (looks like wood) painted every wall, put granite counter tops in, made a breakfast bar.  So what's the next step? An investment property!!!! yay! After trying wells fargo for pre approval, which was an epic fail since none of their loan officers ANSWER THEIR DAMN PHONES! we tried another person my friend knew, same thing, they never return phone calls, so we said fuck it and went to chase, IN PERSON and they got a hold of their guy in chicago over the phone and BAM! an hour later not only were we pre-approved BUT even better we were PRE QUALIFIED!!! yay!!!! Now we get to look for a property suitable to rent out!  It helps that my credit score is 788!!!! can you believe that? 26 years old and 788 credit score!!! All thanks to my husband, and having a best buy card!!! haha!  Buy something....pay it off, rinse and repeat!

Patrick is loving the new asus! I recorded him playing skyrim the other day, will have to post that on the youtube channel this weekend.  I was suppose to work tonight but decided not to go in, and it sounds totally nerdy but we cleaned the house tonight and I had a blast! bathed the dogs! took the comb to poor koda (long haired dachshund) and got about 3lbs of hair off him, he looks so skinny now lol!  Now it's 2:30am and I am gonna get back to doing my netherwing rep quests in world of warcraft!! Patrick's birthday is monday too!!!

Buurrrrr I'm cold!!!

Blogging Hiatus....!

It's been awhile since I've been able to write anything.  Quite a lot has been happening!  First stressful thing is we are looking into buying an investment property (condo) but apparently loan officers get paid hourly wage and not by how much work they do since we can't ever seem to get a hold of them....EVER!

Next new toy we just got is the new Asus G75 from best buy and I am sooo excited about it (I am writing this blog on it right now!) It runs all games that we've tried so far on ULTRA settings, yay! So besides not having a proper working laptop until this week....Diablo 3 has been pretty distracting as well!  All my world of warcraft friends have been diablo addicts!  I got to ride the bike last friday, I didn't film any footage because I've been wanting to just really break into riding without any added obligations.
To be totally honest I've been having some anxiety with riding lately.  I don't think I ever mentioned on the Youtube channel yet, but I am a dancer, and at times I get a big mental block when I get on the FZ6R, it's always in the back of my mind "If I get hurt again..." I've been through it once and I never want to go through that again, but I don't want to live my life paralyzed by fear.  In fact I refuse to, but sometimes I admit it overcomes me and I just choose not to ride that day and hope that the next day it will pass.  Each time I get on that bike I know the risks, and I get butterflies in my stomach, and sometimes I just can't get myself past that block, and other times I find my strength and just say "fuck it!!!" and live life the way "I" want to.  I think it's something I am always going to deal with, but I am hoping that the more I ride the more it will become second nature, and I will be able to handle my emotions better.

Tonight at the gym I sprung an idea for my Youtube channel that I've been thinking about for a really really long time and I finally feel like I am ready to do it starting this weekend.  I am going to start a series of video's that talk about, and show others how to deal with living through a broken leg, the mental stress of it, and the actual rehab that I did to get to where I am now, and show video's of how far I have come in the last 3 1/2 years.  I hope to maybe be able to help other riders who have gone through a broken leg or ARE going through it, to help them realize that you can come back from it, and you can get back on a bike and make it an experience that makes you stronger, and not something that you look back in with regret.  I will do a riding video this weekend hopefully it wont be too warm, it will probably just be a video with music though, and I am sure I am going to get slapped with a youtube music warning LOL cause I can't stand them telling me I can't use certain music!!!!

I hope everyone is riding safe, and livng life to the fullest!!!!

....back to playing my games!!! :)
